FEE Information

Eligibility for Government Funding Place:

  • Australian Citizenship
  • Hold a Permanent Visa
  • Hold a Temporary Protection Visa
  • Timorese Asylum Seeker

Everyone is welcome to enrol

Bookings: A deposit of 25% of the program fee is payable within 48 hours of booking. Balance is payable 7 days prior to the commencement of the program. If booking within 7days of program commencing full payment is required.

Payments: Payments can be made in person during office hours or by mail. Healthcare and Pension card holders may be eligible for a concession on some programs. Limited ACFE funding is available for eligible trainees.

Cancellations: If Dandenong Neighbourhood House should cancel a program we will notify you and a full refund will be given. If a trainee cancels during a program or up to 7 days prior to program commencing no refund will be given.

Prior to this a refund will be given, less a $20 administration fee.

Membership Fees

Memberships are from January to December.

Concession Fee:$2.00 AU
Adult Fee:$5.00 AU

Enrolment Details

People wishing to enrol in a program are asked to complete an Enrolment Form and pay the membership fee, and program fees for government funded programs, in full prior to the class commencement date.

For further information and to enrol, contact the office Monday to Thursday 9.00am - 3.30pm and Fridays from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm.

Bookings

Bookings can be made over the phone, download Enrolment Form from the web and email to our office info@dandenongnh.org.au or in person, but a place in a program is not confirmed until an Enrolment Form is completed and deposit payment is made.

An instalment payment plan can be organised to pay the program off over a period of time if you are having difficulty in paying the full fee. Programs must be paid for in full by the second week of the program unless payment plan has been organised.

Concessions

Dandenong Neighbourhood House aims to provide the opportunity for all members of the local community to participate in our programs. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact the Centre Manager to arrange for a private talk to consider the granting of a special concession or exemption.

The government funded programs on offer are supported by a concession rate. You are eligible for a concession if you receive a pension or have a Health Care Card. Details must be provided when you enrol.

Holidays

We do not run classes on public holidays or during school holidays.

Fees and Charges

Dandenong Neighbourhood House provides learners with details of all fees and charges prior to enrolment.

Refunds

  • Applications for refund/credit will be considered if they are received at least 10 days prior to commencement of courses.
  • Refunds/credits will not be given within 10 days prior to the start date or once a program has commenced. A $20.00 administration fee applies for all withdrawals from a program.
  • A credit/full refund will be given when the class/program is cancelled by DNH.
  • No refund will be given for government funded programs after the fourth week of commencement.

Dandenong Neighbourhood House reserves the right to cancel classes that do not have a minimum number of participants enrolled prior to class start date.

In Person - Please visit us at 34 King Street, Dandenong, fill in an Enrolment Form and pay for your class/program.

By Phone - Enrol by supplying your details to Administration. Places are limited therefore please enrol early to secure a place.
